About Us
The Office of Sponsored Programs handles all pre-award, award negotiation, and non-financial post-award activities for sponsored programs for all of Emory University, with the exception of direct industry-sponsored clinical trials. The following OSP teams provide central research administration support under the following structure.
The OSP Grants Team handles proposals, just-in-time, and awards for:
- Federal Grants
- Foundation Grants
- Corporate Grants (to formal grant programs)
- Incoming Subcontracts which utilize an unmodified FDP Template
- STTR/SBIR Proposals (at the proposals stage only)
The OSP Contracts Team comprises two groups (the Non-industry Contracting Group and the Industry Contracting Group) and handles all RFP proposals, contracts and awards for:
- Government Contracts (Federal, State, and Local) [NICG]
- Incoming Subcontracts under Grants and Contracts with non-industry prime sponsors [NICG]
- Industry / Corporate Contracts and Agreements, for activities other than clinical trials [ICG]
- STTR/SBIR Agreements [ICG]
- Incoming Subcontracts under Industry Contracts (all) [ICG]
- Outgoing Subcontracts on Industry Contracts, other than clinical trials [ICG]
The OSP Subawards Team handles outgoing subawards and subcontracts under:
- Federal Grants
- Foundation Grants
- Corporate Grants (to formal grant programs)
- Government Contracts (Federal, State, and Local)
The Woodruff Industry Sponsored Clinical studies office handles (for all departments except Pediatrics):
- Confidential Disclosure Agreements for industry-sponsored CTAs
- Standard Industry CTAs (industry-written protocol and funding), including Master Agreements
- Investigator-initiated CTAs funded by an industry sponsor
- Outgoing subawards on above portfolio of industry-funded CTAs
- MTAs/DUAs related to industry clinical trials
- Registry/Chart Review studies (may come under the title of Research Agreement) with industry sponsors
- Compassionate Use Agreements/Expanded Access Agreements from industry sponsors
